Vocational Education at secondary school and it’s importance

Academic courses at the secondary level today most often serve principally to prepare young people for higher education,leaving under-achivers and those who drop out or opt out higher education ,inadequately prepared for work Whereas if diversified vocational component introduced at high school classes would prepare them for working life

Vocational and technical education and training which prepare them middle level technicians and and craftsmen prepare them for life For example agricultural skills may be introduced at secondary level and it should be sandwich courses combing work and studies at secondary level To day satellite school provide virtual experience without much cost and at classroom learning itself

Professional counselors post to be created to guide to choose vocational courses The choice of vocation should be based on careful assessment of pupil’s strong and weak points There should be alternate arrangement to renter to formal academic courses
